What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Management and Workload Domains using advanced orchestration tools.
- Design, develop, and optimise complex virtual networking topologies with NSX focusing on security and micro-segmentation.
- Configure and fine-tune VCF Operations Suite for proactive management, automation, and log analysis.
- Collaborate on integrating NetApp storage solutions to ensure high performance and redundancy.
- Manage patching and upgrades across the entire stack to maintain continuous compliance.
- Secure authentication and identity management for critical management planes.
- Work alongside architects and engineers to deliver solutions aligned with high-security standards.
Main Skills Needed
- Expert knowledge of VMware VCF (v8.x/9.x) including SDDC Manager and hybrid architectures
- Strong experience with VMware NSX security-driven networking and overlay-to-underlay integration
- Proficiency with Aria Operations, Log Insight, and Automation tools
- Background in UK high-security environments such as MOD, Government, or National Infrastructure
- Certification in VMware (VCP-VMC, VCIX-NV or equivalent)
