What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the design of CAD solutions that support engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Translate business and engineering requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable CAD platforms.
- Provide design assurance across delivery — from integration and data management to testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure CAD systems align with business needs.
- Oversee CAD standards and governance, ensuring compliance with enterprise, security, and data policies.
- Act as a key point of technical continuity across projects, managing risks while adapting to evolving requirements.
- Drive improvements in CAD solution practices and mentor delivery teams on architectural best practice.
Main Skills Needed:
- Strong background in CAD solution architecture within engineering or manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of CAD platforms (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, AutoCAD) and their integration with enterprise systems.
- Experience with systems design, data modelling, and enterprise integration.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Beneficial: TOGAF, BCS Enterprise/Solutions Architecture, ITIL, or vendor-specific CAD certifications.
