We are looking for a Snowflake Architect – SME to join a highly regarded IT Services company who specialise in helping organisations to modernise their operational management and bridge the gap between IT capabilities and business ambitions.

Main Responsibilities as a Snowflake Architect - SME
- Translating business and regulatory requirements into effective, scalable Snowflake solutions that align with industry standards for data governance, security and compliance. The Snowflake architect will ensure that data infrastructure meets operational and strategic goals.
- Design and Implement scalable Snowflake data architecture that supports high performance data storage, processing and analytics
- Define data models, tables and schemas that align with requirements for accuracy, security and compliance
- Optimise Snowflake environment for performance cost-efficiency, including resource scaling, compute cluster and data partitioning
- Define data governance frameworks and practices for Snowflake, data cataloguing, data lineage and metadata
- Expert Knowledge of Snowflake, including architecture, security, optimization and performance
- Proficient in SQL, data modelling and ETL processes
- Banking sector experience
- Significant experience of data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing preferably in banking sector
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross functional teams
