What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing, building, and maintaining secure, multi-classification environments to support critical operations
- Enhancing ‘Secure by Design’ capabilities in collaboration with IT infrastructure colleagues
- Supporting cloud SaaS solutions and hybrid cloud systems throughout their lifecycle
- Performing routine maintenance, patching, and security updates on infrastructure platforms
- Monitoring and managing alerts, tickets, and security incidents swiftly and effectively
- Assessing incident impacts and leading follow-up actions to restore service
- Consistently improving system stability, security, and performance through trend analysis and proactive planning
- Continuously developing skills in cutting-edge cloud, network, and security technologies
- Sharing expertise by creating documentation and knowledge articles for the wider team
Main Skills Needed:
- Strong experience in Windows Server (2016+), VMware, Microsoft 365, and Linux systems
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Autopilot EUD provisioning, and security hardening
- Knowledge of SSO, secure environments, and cloud technologies (Azure, hybrid clouds)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, DevSecOps tooling, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, and security assessment tools (e.g., Nessus)
- Experience working within Agile sprint environments and in highly secure, protected environments
- Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and motivation for continuous learning and improvement
