What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building and optimising the Android operating system at the hardware layer.
- Creating and maintaining customised OS builds that boost speed, stability and security.
- Partnering with hardware and product teams to integrate new features seamlessly.
- Troubleshooting low-level system issues and delivering OTA updates.
- Documenting processes to ensure scalability of future versions.
Main Skills Needed:
- Proven experience in Android OS development (AOSP), beyond app-level coding.
- Strong programming in C/C++ and Java.
- Solid understanding of ARM architecture and embedded systems.
- Hands-on background building and maintaining custom Android builds.
- A passion for pushing Android devices beyond the ordinary.
